Aliquot charges 1.00 % of the base price at first, down to 0.50 % from 500,000 USD of monthly volume, with the thresholds published below. fee_payer CUSTOMER (the default) adds the fee and your markup to the price; MERCHANT takes them from the seller’s share.

Which coins and networks does each accept?

NOWPayments lists 350+ currencies, and fiat deposits in over 20 fiat currencies.[1][6]

Aliquot accepts stablecoins only: Polygon PoS (USDT, USDC), BNB Smart Chain (USDT) and Base (USDC). It only counts transfers from the canonical token contracts. Credited at 64 confirmations on Polygon PoS, 15 on BNB Smart Chain and 30 on Base.

Who holds the money?

NOWPayments’ refund policy describes it as a non-custodial service that does not store your funds: payments go to your wallet. It also offers a custody balance, with auto settlement in a currency of your choice.[5][6]

Stays in stablecoins, no conversion. Funds are held in wallets controlled by Aliquot until you pay them out; balances are kept per account, network and token.

Can I split a payment between sellers, affiliates and my platform?

NOWPayments publishes mass payouts and user accounts with Extended Custody, with balances and transfers between accounts. Splitting a single payment by percentage is not described on the pages checked.[4]

On Aliquot, the split is part of the invoice: name the seller, add up to 20 partner shares and a markup of 0–20 %. Every share is computed on the base price, booked on the double-entry ledger and paid out from that account’s own balance.

How do refunds and payouts work?

With NOWPayments, a refund to a customer is a transfer you send from your own wallet; for stuck transactions, such as a wrong network, support can forward or return the funds on request. It offers mass payouts, and zero-fee mass payouts to ChangeNOW wallets.[5][4][7]

Aliquot does not refund completed sales. It holds money that is not owed to the seller (an overpayment, an expired partial payment, a late or wrong-token transfer) for the buyer, who claims it through a private link. Payouts send an account’s available balance to a wallet for 1 USD + 0.1 % of the amount.

When is NOWPayments the better choice?

  • You want to accept hundreds of coins, not only stablecoins, or networks Aliquot does not cover.[1]
  • You want payments to go straight to your own wallet. Aliquot holds funds until you pay them out.[5]
  • You need fiat deposits or automatic settlement in a currency of your choice.[6]
  • You sell subscriptions. Aliquot has no recurring payments.[2]
  • You need to refund completed sales as part of your normal flow. Aliquot’s refunds only return money that is not owed to the seller.[5]

When is Aliquot the better choice?

  • You are a platform paying sellers and affiliates: each payment is split into seller net, up to 20 partner shares, your markup and the fee, and booked on a double-entry ledger.
  • You want the full fee schedule in public: 1.00 % at first, 0.50 % from 500,000 USD a month, with the current rate readable by API.
  • You want overpayments, expired partial payments and late transfers held for the buyer automatically, never credited to the seller.
  • You want confirmation thresholds published per network, and a Sandbox on public test networks with the same API.
